It was a great year for me.

Not so great for lower Manhattan.

Growing up in school, we had a kid whose birthday was on the actual 9/11/2001.

So every year we would have that moment of silence at the end of the day, and the class

would get real quiet.

And then the teacher would break in, "Boys and girls, on this day we must remember that

Francesca's mom brought cupcakes!"

Oh my gosh, are those chocolate frosted?

Because this is a day I will never forget.

We actually had a twin in the class too, Francesca.

The teacher would tell us, "Boys and girls,

"I just got word from the office

"that a second tray of cupcakes has hit our classroom.

"A second tray of cupcakes has hit our classroom."

It's really crazy 'cause there was another

9/11 birthday in our school across the hall from us.

There was another 9/11 birthday.

A third tray of cupcakes hit over there.

Really crazy, is that classroom--

- That classroom was Pentagon shaped

and there was supposed to be a fourth tray

but that one fell in the hallway on the way to the class.
